Ms. Petriano has been with GCG since July 2003. In her role as Assistant Director, she is directly involved in all phases of bankruptcy projects, including review of client data, coordination and oversight of mailings (including, in certain instances, the corresponding publication of notices), and creation of customized proof of claim forms. In addition,she oversees all aspects of the balloting process, including preparation of ballots, identification and classification of all affected parties, preparation of protocol and the generation of status and other reports throughout the balloting process. Ms. Petriano serves as the primary contact for creditors and other interested parties during all stages of the project.
While at GCG, Ms. Petriano has managed many Chapter 11 cases, including Hawaiian Airlines, Romacorp/Tony Roma's,
Fortunoff Holdings, LLC and BearingPoint, Inc. She also worked extensively on CyberRebate.com, which was the first bankruptcy case in which the filing of proofs of claim and the solicitation of votes on the debtor's plan of liquidation were effected exclusively on-line.
Ms. Petriano began her career as a senior paralegal in the Bankruptcy department at Hahn & Hessen LLP, where she spent 20 years working on large commercial shipping, textile and retail bankruptcies.
Ms. Petriano graduated cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from Adelphi University. She received her Paralegal Certificate from Adelphi University School for Paralegal Studies.
