As Vice President, Banking and Financial Administration at GCG, Mr. Okajima is responsible for
new business development and the management of claims processing administration projects
for many high-profile cases. He works with political advisors, while focusing on government
markets for class actions and other types of claims processing opportunities. In addition, Mr.
Okajima oversees GCG's banking department, where he manages banking relationships and
escrow agreements, distribution methods and payments, account setups, and transactions
regarding international payments. As a former Series 7 license holder, he is conversant in
investment options available to the settlement fund.
Prior to joining GCG, Mr. Okajima worked at JPMorgan Chase, where he held various senior
positions in the Strategic Planning area, Global Client Management Group, and Government
Contracts and Settlement Services. His career has encompassed both the retail and corporate world of banking, as well as assignments in operations, administration, project management, sales and business management. Mr. Okajima's background in international banking includes: managing foreign clients, trustee and paying agency appointments for eurobonds, euro-commercial paper, multi-currency and cross border escrows and structured financings, multinational project financings and consulting for governmental and related entities.
A graduate of Dartmouth College, Mr. Okajima is an active member of his community and local church.
