Stephen J. Cirami
Vice President, East Coast Operations

Mr. Cirami joined GCG in December 2003 as a Director of Securities Operations after practicing law for over 5 years. In April 2005, he was promoted to Assistant Vice President of Operations, managing a staff of more than 60 professionals. Most recently, he was promoted to Vice President of Operations and heads GCG’s East Coast Operational Department.

Among his many achievements at GCG, Mr. Cirami has managed all aspects of hundreds of securities settlements, including such high volume cases as Tyco International Securities Litigation, Royal Ahold Securities Litigation, the Nortel Networks Corp. Securities Litigations, Global Crossing Securities Litigation, and Lucent Technologies Securities Litigation. In this capacity, he has overseen more than 60 mailings (including 16 million notice packets) and over 50 check distributions (including the distribution of over 1.1 million checks) in one year alone. In addition, Mr. Cirami's organizational skills and work ethic have enabled GCG to expand the breadth of the Securities Division, while shortening the duration of the firm's securities administrations.

Before joining GCG, Mr. Cirami spent the bulk of his legal career as a class action defense attorney at King & Spalding LLP in New York. Prior to that, he was a litigation associate at Clifford Chance (formerly Rogers & Wells).

Mr. Cirami did his undergraduate work at the State University of New York at Albany, where he graduated with a B.A. in Psychology. A cum laude graduate, he earned his J.D. from Duke University School of Law. In addition to his responsibilities at GCG, Mr. Cirami is a member of the New York Bar Association, New Jersey Bar Association and Florida Bar Association.
